The permanent exhibition of Latvia's hundred-year “Valka - the cradle of independence of Latvia” is shaped as a story of social political events in Valka from 1914 to 1920, with particular emphasis on the preparations for the establishment of the State of Latvia and the organisation of the North Latvia Brigade in Valka, which played a crucial role in the Latvian Independence Fights. The exposure content is disclosed by historical originals, large-format prints and interactive tablets with an in-depth informative material.
