Defence of the interests of persons under guardianship (Valka municipality council)

The Orphan's Court, in defending the interests of persons under guardianship:
1) decide on the appointment of a trustee to a person under guardianship.
2) decide on the entering into of the marriage contract thereof in accordance with the Civil Law;
3) supervise that the trustee submit an application to the court regarding the review of the mandatory capacity limitation to a person with a capacity restriction within the specified time period, as well as provide the court with information that has a role in the case regarding the review of the capacity limitation;
4) inform the Prosecutor's Office if, due to the delay of the trustee, a review of the limitation of capacity in the interests of the person under guardianship is necessary;
5) settle a dispute between the person under guardianship and the trustee thereof and, if necessary, take a decision. If the person under the auspices or the trustee thereof considers the decision taken to be incorrect, the request may be brought before the court in accordance with the procedures specified in the Civil Procedure Law.
