The time period for the issuance of an administrative act may be extended to a year on the basis of Section 64, Paragraph two of the Administrative Procedure Law.
Description:
The proposal for alienation shall indicate the information referred to in Paragraph 3 of Cabinet Regulation No. 109 of 1 February 2011, Procedures for the alienation of the property of a public person, and shall be accompanied by the documents referred to in Paragraphs 4 and 5.
The alienation of real estate of the county council of Valka, which is not necessary for the exercise of autonomous functions of the local government, by selling it at auction or at free price, in accordance with the decision of the county council of Valka, including the alienation of the unit of land in favour of persons for whom: the right of use of land to a land unit granted for use has been terminated (pre-rights) contract; buildings or buildings belonging to the initiator shall be located on the unit of land.
A proposal for alienation, documents attached thereto shall be examined, the City Council shall take a decision regarding the transfer of immovable property for alienation or the refusal of alienation. As a result of the alienation, property rights from the local government shall be transferred to the acquirer
A submitter shall submit a submission to the local government in person, by post or e-mail (with an e-signature)
The county council shall take a decision regarding a permit to alienate real estate.
Refuse to dispose of immovable property may, if not:
1. The subject referred to in Section 4, Paragraph four of the Law on the alienation of the property of a public person;
2. Copies of documents certifying the ownership of buildings (structures) have been submitted;
3. If an apartment has been granted to a person as assistance in solving matters of the apartment.
The consent or refusal to alienate immovable property shall be sent in writing to the initiator of the alienation.

1. A personal identification document;
2. A rental (rental) contract for real estate (apartment) property;
3. Copies of the documents certifying the ownership of the buildings (structures) of the initiator of alienation.
(a document submitted electronically shall be prepared in accordance with the regulatory enactments regarding the drawing up of electronic documents).

Additional information regarding the business entities specified in Article 28 of the Law on Privatisation of Land in Rural Areas which may acquire land in ownership.
Business entities specified in Section 20 of the Law On Land Reform in the cities of the Republic of Latvia, who may acquire land in property.
