On February 5, at 16.00 p.m. the ballet “Giselle” performance, showen by the Latvian National Ballet, will be held at the Valka Culture House.
Adolphe Charles Adam’s ballet “Giselle” is one of the first big romantic ballets and one of the few that remained to the present day.
The story about surrendered love of a naive girl unfolds on the rural village idyll background, the madness and life after the death in a scary beautiful world, where manage the ghosts of deceived women.
Ballet’s “Giselle” original choreography created by Jules Perrot, Marius Petipa, Jean Corall, choreography staged Aivars Leimanis.
